Presented by the owner Cleopatra Group (Egypt), the architectural company Design International (UK) and the leasing company DI Leasing (for whom Svicom is shareholding partner), the prized Cleopatra Mall project aims to become the benchmark mix used shopping and entertainment site in Egypt.
Located in 6th October City, the biggest residential expansion of Cairo, near the Giza Pyramids, this massive centre will harmoniously combine architecture inspired by the splendors of the past with modern design, featuring a symbolic "wave in the desert" on its roof. Transparent facades and skylights will provide plentiful of natural light. This innovative project will become the first shopping and entertainment centre open 24 hours; it is due to be delivered in 2013, and it includes a 5,000 sq. m. artificial lake that will hold aquatic shows, a luxury area, a five-stars hotel, offices, a spa, a nightclub, a cinema complex (with the first 4D in the Country), a daycare centre, a medical centre, a mosque and a wide selection of fine-dining restaurants and lake-view cafes. The 350,000 sq. m. project is expected to receive eighteen million guests in its first year of operation.
